We are busy, busy with 2011 Seniors! Here’s a sneak peek of one of our A.L. reps, and another couple of images for our Millard West client!
On our way to photograph an Underwood senior tonight, a Riverside client tomorrow and another student from A.L. this weekend!
It was 83 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze…..and it was JULY! I couldn’t believe the weather Jake and Sarah had for their wedding day! It was absolutely perfect!
The ceremony was held at the Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha. It was gorgeous both inside the building and outdoors in the courtyard areas….a beautiful wedding venue.

OH. MY. GOSH. You guys better clear your Saturdays because you are going to have a lot of brides calling you to do their weddings!!!! These pictures are AMAZING! I don’t think I could ask for better! Thank you guys so much! I cant wait to see the rest! =)

Fine print: Available for purchase on August 2nd ONLY. Can be purchased via phone, online or by finding me that day and handing me money. $35 sessions can only be used in the months of January-April in 2011.
Why $35? Why August 2nd? Well….it’s my birthday on the 2nd….I’ll be 35….and I’ve always loved a good party.

YAY!!!! Both for the sessions, and the pic!!
Now this is how rumors get started! Heehee!
If you know the woman in these photos….don’t panic! Your invitation to the wedding did not get lost in the mail! We bribed her to be a model for our mock bridal shoot!
Okay, so first things first. You know we’re shooting weddings now, right?! In the spirit of portfolio building, we took our good friend, Mandy, out and shot pictures of her wearing this stylish dress from Brandy Brandt designs.
The first time I saw this dress, I fell in love with it! All of Brandy’s designs are incredible! Check out her Facebook page or head down to the Bellwhether Boutique in the Old Market to purchase a one of a kind dress!
To create the perfect updo, we turned to Melissa Mendoza at The Edge Salon in Council Bluffs. The style she created, complimented the veil (also from Brandy Brandt) perfectly!

I love it! Gorgeous pics!
One of the questions we get often is, “How much will our senior pictures REALLY cost?”
Apparently (and I honestly didn’t know this), some studios out there charge extra fees for little adjustments to the photos. For example, if you want a picture in black and white instead of color….it’s extra.
Well, I promise you, we don’t play any games with you. The photo below that is in black and white and the other that is in color cost exactly the same price. It’s true!
It gets better though!
If you wake up with a pimple between your eyes, don’t worry! It won’t cost any extra for me to retouch your print. In fact, you won’t even remember you had it, because when you view your proofs, it will have magically disappeared!
Want to bring your friend for a photo or two? Think it would be fun to be photographed with your car? Your puppy? A piano? Guess what?…..it doesn’t cost extra.
My husband, Chad, and I are the only employees of j. selander photography, so no matter who you talk to, you’re going to get the same information!
