Deaf Missions

This sweet couple lives one mile from my childhood home, were friends with my parents AND my grandparents, and I just met them for the first time on Sunday.

Duane King founded Deaf Missions in 1970.  He and his wife, Peggy, served God by faithfully ministering to the hearing impaired for nearly 40 years.  The leadership has exchanged hands now, as Duane has retired, but God has continued to bless the minstry.  The resources Deaf Missions provide have now reached at least 88 countries!

The amazing part of this story is how humble and Godly these people truly are!  Duane and Peggy have such tender, loving hearts, and give all the glory to God for the successes of Deaf Missions.

I didn’t end up crossing paths with them, because of the family connections either.  We met, because we were hired to do a photo session for the family.  Their daughter chose us based on our previous work and our love for the Lord (that I proclaimed on our website!).

I feel so blessed to have had a chance to meet them and their beautiful family.  God is good.
